RUGBY WORLD CUP COUNTDOWN

Getting Ready Workshops

In 2011 Auckland will be put in the spotlight internationally. Many of the key Rugby World Cup games will held in the Auckland region – and this is the perfect opportunity to showcase your business.

With an estimated 60,000 overseas visitors visiting New Zealand to attend the tournament, Heart of the City is encouraging all businesses to attend all of the Getting Ready Workshops to better understand the opportunities provided by RWC 2011. As maintaining a quality visitor experience is crucial to how Auckland is viewed internationally.

The number of visitors in Auckland and the extensive media coverage will be unprecedented for our region. Because this scale is something new to us all, the Visitor Ready Programme has been set up to help you be as prepared as possible.
