A $9.5m fund for RWC festival grants has been announced.
The grants will be awarded to support public events and activities associated with the Rugby World Cup 2011.

  • $43 million has been spent on upgrading Queen Street and the surrounding lanes in 2007, as part of a 10 year, $160 million CBD revitalisation program. Funded by CBD ratepayers. Including new, wider footpaths, Nikau Palms lining Queen Street, and designer street furniture.
