WHO ARE WE?
Heart of Auckland City was conceived as a representative group for Auckland City businesses. Originally a rating lobby group, the role of the Association has since evolved to also become an agent for marketing and promoting the CBD; the BIG little city.
We have a broad membership across CBD business ratepayers, including all major retail chains; CBD shopping centres and small to medium sized CBD retailers, plus over 100 cafes and 200 plus restaurants and bars.
Heart of Auckland City has five major objectives: promotion and marketing; the physical enhancement of the city; business development, infrastructure partnerships e.g. buses, security, ambassadors, and lobbying. You can read more about this on our mission page.
