Music in Parks is back for 2010
Music in Parks is back in 2010 and is shaping up to be better than ever! For 17 years, Auckland City Council has proudly been providing Music in Parks, a series of free music and film events in our city's stunning parks and reserves.
The 2010 programme runs from January to March and features over 40 concerts showcasing the best musical talent that Auckland has to offer.
Music in Parks is made up of four different series, each with its own unique flavour.
Summer Sounds features multiple billings of award winning artists offering everything from rock to roots.
The Culture Garden presents inspiring niche musical forms that promise to inspire.
Jazz at the Rotunda stages some of Auckland's finest jazz musicians at the rotunda in Auckland Domain and Movies in Parks screens a host of classic kiwi flicks with pre-movie performances by some of Auckland's hottest up and coming bands.
