New Interim CEO Appointed
We are pleased to announce the appointment of interim Chief Executive, David Wright, effective immediately.
Mr Wright is an experienced company director, executive leader and management consultant for a diverse range of corporate and State sector companies. He presently serves on the boards of WEL Networks and West Coast Energy, among others.
Our Chair, Terry Gould, says Mr Wright is an ideal candidate to take control at Heart of the City, given his strong leadership track record across a broad range of industries.
Mr Wright has significant experience in leading organisations through transitional periods, says Mr Gould, including as interim chief executive of State Owned Enterprise AsureQuality and Aviation Security Services. He also developed governance strategies for the Civil Aviation Authority and Aviation Security Services.
David is an extremely capable, experienced and safe pair of hands in which to entrust the affairs of Heart of the City, on behalf of our members and the Central Business District while we adjust to this period of change. He will oversee all Heart of the City matters until a new permanent CEO is appointed.
