Progress on Auckland Ports Expansion

A fortnight ago Auckland Council set a hard line against the Ports expansion plans when it rejected all of their options for expansion, saying in effect that enough is enough. Mayor Len Brown acknowledged that the Ports expansion plans were "the most contentious issue of his first term” and drew a bold line in the sand.
