Knowing how many people are out and about in the streets of the city at all times is hugely powerful.

Our pedestrian count data is used in making lease decisions and productivity analysis, and helps us recognise the effects of activity like events, public holidays and the Christmas shopping rush.

Our system captures how many people are moving past each of our monitoring sites in real time, and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Here you'll find the full data set showing hourly pedestrian counts for all sites we monitor. Click here for pedestrian count site geodata with latitude and longitude coordinates for each site.

Monthly data is updated by the 7th of each month.

Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). This means you are free to copy, distribute, and adapt the data, as long as you attribute the data to Heart of the City and abide by the other license terms.
