What retailers had to say about 4 Days of Fashion

News story
Tuesday 17 Apr 2018

4 Days of Fashion in the City brought a buzz of exciting events, new fashion and great shopping to the city centre at the end of March.

We know that activation, experiences and community are part of the future of bricks and mortar shopping – Jamie Whiting from Barkers and Simon Day from Ingrid Starnes both talked about this idea in stories they wrote for the event. Our 4 Days of Fashion event helps take the unique in-store experiences that stores in the city centre provide every day to another level.

Retailers tell us this year’s event brought something special to the city and increased foot traffic and spending – here’s what just a few of them had to say:

“Foot traffic and sales were up so that’s positive! Overall we found it a success and a great event to be part of.”
Stirling Sports, Queen Street

“We saw a lift in door count from the hype around the area and increased foot traffic… We felt the event was an overall success for the Auckland city precinct.”

“Overall the event went really well for us. Our event was a step up on what we did last year and we had amazing feedback.”
Pat Menzies, Queen Street

“I massively appreciate being given the freedom and support to execute a vision like this.”
Checks, High Street
