Submission on the Time of Use Charging Amendment Bill
Our submission to the Time of Use Charging (TOUC) Bill - which provides the legal basis for local authorities, such as Auckland Council, to implement time-of-use charging schemes - highlights the need to increase local representation through the engagement and decision-making process, ensure an adequate dispute resolution mechanism, and ensure ongoing impact assessments.
We note that the TOUC Bill is not related to the development of a scheme for Auckland, which we are engaging on separately with Auckland Council on.
