246 Queen Street
A sophisticated retail, hospitality and commercial transformation has been completed at 246 Queen Street, an eight-storey example of 1960s architecture in the mid-city block between Victoria and Wellesley Streets.
Designers Fearon Hay worked with owners Wilshire Group to restore the building in keeping with its fashion heritage and strengthen the connection between Queen and Lorne Street, enabled by the double street frontages of this site.
The Queen Street ground floor is occupied by one major retailer, with level two activated by an open and collective space with adjoining food and beverage tenancies, with street-level access from Lorne Street.
Six floors of commercial tenancies have been completely renovated, bringing close to 6,000sqm of premium office space to the market complete with a cardio room, end of trip facilities including showers, lockers and bike storage and close proximity to the future Aotea CRL station.
Completion is expected by January 2020.
