Auckland Festival 2009

Auckland’s biennial arts and cultural festival which presents works from New Zealand, the Pacific, Asia and beyond, including world premieres of new works and international performing arts events never before seen in Australasia.

The Festival programme highlights the diversity of the city and features more than 100 events, including dance, music, cabaret, burlesque, theatre, ballet, visual arts and film. A vibrant Festival hub in the city centre with late night bars, live music and an array of free events for the whole family will ensure that there is something for everyone to enjoy and participate in.
