Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Heart of the City Incorporated will be held as follows:
Thursday, 29 October, 5.30 pm - 7.00 pm
Great Barrier Room, Mövenpick Hotel Auckland, 8 Customs Street East, Auckland City Centre, 1010
Please arrive at 5:30 pm for a 5.45 pm start

Matters To Be Put To The Meeting
The following matters will be put to the meeting for consideration and, where required, approval or voting by Members:
• Confirmation of Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 20 October 2025 and the Special General Meeting held on 16 September 2026
• Approval of the Annual Financial Statements for 2025/2026
• Appointment of Auditor
• Strategic Plan Development Process and Timeframes
• 2027/2028 Draft Business Plan
• Draft budget for the 2027/2028 financial year
• Election of Executive Committee Members
Completed Executive Committee nomination forms must be emailed to [email protected] by no later than 5pm on Thursday, 22 October 2026. The nomination form is available here.
For the avoidance of any doubt, the Members of the Executive Committee who were elected at the 2026 SGM are retiring from office and intending to present themselves for re-election at the AGM. Those Members will need to be nominated.
Each Full Member may exercise voting rights through its designated Representative in accordance with the Heart of the City Rules.
Membership Details
To ensure our membership records remain accurate and up to date, please review your
membership details and advise us of any changes. In particular, please ensure the legal entity that holds the membership is correctly recorded.
Please note: For Members that are not individuals, the HOTC Rules require the Member to designate an individual Representative to act on its behalf in relation to Heart of the City matters. Only the current designated Representative for the Membership organisation will be able to attend the AGM and vote, on behalf of the Member.
