Queen Street, Auckland

The aim of the White Ribbon March is to deliver an impactful message, not only to Auckland but across the country, that we wish to eliminate violence towards women. We are sure you are well versed with the huge human cost of domestic violence.

For more information about White Ribbon see: http://whiteribbon.org.nz

The march is scheduled to begin at
Queen Elizabeth Square, Britomart, Auckland
at 11 am (assembly at 10.30am).
It will culminate at Myers Park,
and be followed by a brief rally at the park,
with the event finishing at 12.30pm.

We’re expecting to galvanise at least 1000 people for the event on Queen Street, all going well.

The event is being coordinated by the White Ribbon Auckland Central organising committee, which comprises more than 15 community organisations involved in the domestic violence sector as well as representatives from Auckland Council and Local Boards. The March will be led by the White Ribbon Riders.
