Auckland Anniversary Weekend

This weekend the city will be celebrating its 175th year. Events include the Buskers Festival, the Seafood Festival, a carnival on the eastern viaduct, and a transformation of Queen's Wharf and Quay Street into a multimedia exhibition that tells the stories of those who have shaped Tamaki Makarau.

To support this event there a number of road closures and parking restrictions in place, including:

  • Quay Street, between lower Albert and Commerce Street and lower Queen Street, between Customs and Quay Street will be closed
  • The Eastern Viaduct will also be closed
The detail is outlined on the map below. Auckland Council have notified directly affected businesses.
