Central City Road Maintenance Agreement

Minimising impact of Road Maintenance to HOTCity Businesses

Whilst maintenance of our city streets is essential, and unavoidable, we wanted to find a way to minimise the impact that this kind of activity has on business. 

As a result we have worked with the Auckland Road Maintenance Alliance (ARMA) to develop an agreement for how they will deliver its road maintenance work in the CBD. The agreement sets out their commitment to how they will communicate, timing for works, mitigate noise from works, consider access requirements, and work with HOTCity to programme their works to identify ideal times for work when developing their yearly work programmes.

Having an agreement like this is a positive step forward in recognising the needs of business, and creating clearer expectations for all.
