Have your say – Council’s Annual Plan 2011/2012
Council's draft Annual Plan 2011/2012 is now out for public consultation, with submissions due by 1 April 2011. It is pleasing to see that the development of the CBD has been given priority under the draft Waitemata Local Board Plan, as this is consistent with our vision for the CBD's future. Areas highlighted include heritage protection, public transport initiatives including the restructuring of central city bus services and the CBD rail link, streetscape improvements, waterfront development and provision for cycling and walking on the Harbour Bridge.
Included in the draft document are a number of proposed increases to a number of licencing and consent fees across a number of business activities including Food premises licence, Hairdressers premises fees, health and bathhouse annual fees and street trading. The detail of the proposed changes can be found here...
Heart of the City will be sending in a submission on the annual plan, and will publish this on our website. If there is anything that you particularly wish us to incorporate into our submission please let us know. If you wish to send in your own submission, find our more…
