IRONMAN 70.3 Auckland

IRONMAN 70.3 Auckland, 19 January 2014 is the official Asia Pacific Championship for this triathlon distance, and is one of only three regional championships in the world. The IRONMAN 70.3 distance involves a 1.9km swim, 90km bike and 21.1km run, which is half of the full IRONMAN distance (a total of 113km or 70.3 miles). The Auckland course is based on the iconic waterfront with the swim in the Viaduct Harbour, two lap bike over the Auckland Harbour Bridge to Albany and return and two lap run along the waterfront with the finish at the Viaduct Events Centre.
