Collections
- put out only the following for kerbside collection:
- Auckland City official rubbish and recycling bags - see recycling for what can go in your recycling bags
- bags or bins of licensed commercial collectors
- paper and cardboard for recycling - see paper and cardboard for further information
- rubbish and recycling should be put out between 5pm and 5.30pm Monday to Saturday, and midnight to 4am every day. There are thirteen collections per week
- rubbish and recycling not in an official bag ie unmarked or black rubbish bags, or placed on the kerb outside of collection times, will be treated as illegal dumping and could result in a fine for those responsible
