Queen Street Road Closure
Cross Street, Upper Queen Street, Queen Street, Customs Street and Britomart place will be closed between 12pm and 2pm on Wednesday 23rd September for the Erotica Expo Parade. The parade will consist of 2 tanks, 1 lead vehicle, 4 horses, 30 motorcycles and 15 promotional vehicles and will start from Cross St, turn left into Upper Queen Street and travel north, the tanks will join the procession fom the western kerb. The parade will continue down Queen Street, turn right into Customs Street and left into Britomart Place where the parade will dissemble. Police will implement a temporary closure of Britomart Place to facilitate the safe dispersal of the parade
Auckland Police will manage traffic, closing roads as the parade approaches and re-opening as the parade passes (rolling road closure).
