Significant Central City Road Closures for the ITU World Cup Triathlon
A significant number of full road closures will occur in the central city, from 4am to 7pm on Sunday, 20 November 2011, including:
- Quay Street, Queen Street, Customs Street West, Shortland Street, Princes Street, Bowen Avenue, Victoria Street East, Kitchener Street, High Street Wakefield Street, Mayoral Drive, Victoria Street West, Albert Street, Fort and Jean Batten Place.
A significant number of controlled road closures will occur in the central city, from 4am to 10am on Sunday, 20 November 2011, and then fully from 10am to 7pm on Sunday 20 November, including:
- High Street, O’Connell Street, Fields Lane, Bankside Street, Kitchener Street, Airedale Street, Durham Street West, Wyndham Street, Darby Street and Lorne Street (between Victoria and Wellesley Street).
The following roads will be partially closed from 4am to 1pm, Sunday 20 November 2011
- Quay Street (from lower Albert Street to Lower Hobson Street, partially closed with one way access from the city)
There will be no on-street parking from 4pm Saturday, 19 November to 2am, Sunday 21 November on a number of streets including:
- Quay Street, Queen Street, Customs Street West, Shortland Street, Princes Street, Bowen Avenue, Victoria Street East and West, Kitchener Street, High Street, Wakefield Street, Mayoral Drive, Wellesley Street West, Albert Street and Customs Street East and in areas of the Wynyard Quarter.
