AUT Winter Graduation Ceremonies
AUT graduations take place at the Aotea Centre, with ceremonies running throughout the day.
The ceremonies bring a festive feel to the city centre, with lots of graduands in full academic dress and friends and families coming to celebrate with them.
Graduation processions take place at 10am on graduation days, starting on Princes Street. The route follows Princes Street, going left down Bowen Avenue and Victoria Street East, and then left into Queen Street up to Aotea Square.
Thursday 2 August
- 11am: Business, Economics and Law (Ceremony A)
- 2.30pm: Business, Economics and Law (Ceremony B)
- 5.30pm: Te Ara Poutama with Culture and Society
Friday 3 August
- 11am: Design and Creative Technologies (Engineering, computer and mathematical sciences)
- 2.30pm: Design and Creative Technologies with Health & Environmental Sciences
- 5.30pm: Health and Environmental Sciences (Health Programmes)
