For 74 years the Farmers Santa Parade has brought joy to the children of Auckland and this year is no exception.
Traditionally the Parade attracts well over 250,000 people as it kick-starts the Christmas season with the perfect mix of fantasy, excitement, magic and laughter, following a route from Mayoral Drive, through Queen Street, Customs Street West and Albert Street.
Kids and adults alike can expect a procession of enchanting Christmas floats, fantastic fairytale favourites and hot TV characters. In addition to the jolly man in the red suit, there will be some great new floats including a carnival float, a funky plane, and a magic genie float. There will be bands, costumes, new characters and traditional favourites, and of course the Grand Marshal who shall remain secret until closer to
