Auckland Walks – City Heritage Walk

BIG little city is proud to announce that we are bringing free heritage walks during the Auckland Heritage Festival in partnership with Auckland City Walks.

An entertaining discovery experience exploring the city centre's heritage and culture. Enjoy rich encounters with the city's origins and almost one thousand years of human history since Maori first settled Tamaki Makarau.

Gain an understanding of the story of Auckland from Maori and European perspectives. Walk starts a the waterfront and walks up through the lower city to Albert Park and return via the University and Shortland Street.

This tour is unfortunately not suitable for young children or those requiring mobility aids.
