Help us explore the future of city centre loading and servicing

News story
Thursday 25 Oct 2018

Ensuring that the city centre can be serviced and maintained and that goods can be delivered is vital for its success. As the city continues to evolve and grow, the approach to loading and servicing will need to adapt, and innovation will be central to this.

We’re looking for up to three city centre businesses who would like to help improve and future-proof loading and servicing in the city centre to join a reference group.

The purpose of the group will be to discuss the challenges, the needs and the opportunities for this vital city centre function.

The reference group will kick off with its first meeting on Wednesday 21 November and then the group will decide how frequently it will meet. At the first meeting the terms of reference and the purpose of the group will also be finalised.

This is an joint initiative between ourselves and Auckland Transport. It will also include a number of businesses who either service and/or deliver to the city centre, as well as representatives from Auckland Transport and Auckland Council who are working on programmes around the city centre's transformation.

If you’re a business in the city centre and are interested in joining this group please get in touch with Tania Loveridge to discuss your participation.
