BIG little City Ambassadors
We are looking for part time (24 hours per week from October to March 2013) energetic BIG little City Ambassadors to be the first point of contact for tourists and visitors in the heart of Auckland city. Ambassadors promote the best of the city center, the Auckland region and welcome and providing information about services and amenities to locals and tourists that visit the Auckland CBD.
As well as having a customer focused role, you will ensure that our city center is putting its best foot forward and will be the eyes and ears on the street. You will be there when the cruise ships arrive in port, and when the big events are on in the city (such as the Santa Parade), and providing invaluable information on changes to CBD Businesses back to Heart of the City. You will report issues on the street, such as illegal rubbish dumping or broken street furniture, disorderly behavior, and work in partnership with our City Watch Security Team.
Successful candidates will have a bubbly confident personality, a high level of fitness and not be afraid to go out of their way to find answers to unknown questions. Working within a team is essential and customer service experience is preferred. Availability to work weekdays and weekends is essential.
If this sounds like you and you love spending the day talking to different people and learning everything there is to know about Auckland’s city center then click here to learn more and apply.
Candidates must be available for 8 hour shifts, Monday through Sunday, between October and March 2013
Applications in by 5pm, Friday 14 September 2012
