Heart of the City AGM Nomination Form
Each year at its AGM the Heart of the City membership has the opportunity to elect a new Board. The powers of this Board are contained within part 13 (page 10) of our constitution and are primarily concerned with the financial and operational management of the Association.
The Board also has the right to co-opt up to 3 additional members at its discretion. The elected Board subsequently votes on the appointment of a Chairman, Deputy Chair and a Treasurer. There is a minimum of 10 meetings each year held on a monthly basis. The objective of the Board is to approve budgets and marketing strategies and to ensure that the officers of the Heart of the City are meeting their agreed performance objectives. Please note: To be eligible for the Heart of the City board you must either own a business or work for a business located in Auckland CBD.
