Changes to the bus network for the city centre
AT's new central suburbs bus network is being rolled out from Sunday 8 July as part of a simpler, more integrated public transport network that's being implemented across the city. The new networks for East, West and South Auckland have been put in place already over the past 18 months, and now it's Central Auckland's turn.
Some important parts of the new network for the city centre are:
- More frequent services - 12 bus routes to and from the city centre at least every 15 minutes until late evening, 7 days a week. During busy periods most of these routes will have buses every 5 to 10 minutes
- Better evening and weekend options, including extra after-midnight services
- A new frequent TāmakiLink bus connecting the eastern bays to the city centre in Britomart, in addition to the existing CityLink, InnerLink and OuterLink routes

You can see all of the information about changes to routes and route numbers, timetables and bus stops here on the AT website.
