The number of people living in the city centre is growing at great pace, and a large number of residential development projects are either under construction or proposed to meet the growing demand.

The Pacifica
The Pacifica is New Zealand’s tallest residential tower and is now open. It measures 178 metres high and has over 200 apartments. Designed by Plus Architecture, it has been described by renowned Architect Guy Marriage as having a “flamboyant façade and innovative climbing formwork." Under construction

Seascape
81 – Customs Street East, 221 apartments across 52 storeys. It is anticipated to be completed in the first quarter of 2023.  More information is available here.

The CAB
1 Grey’s Ave, 1, 2, & 3 bedroom residences across 16 storeys (retrofit of former Auckland Council Civic Administration Building). As of February 2022, show apartments are available for viewing. More information is available here.

Queens Park Residences
369 Queen Street, 111 residences across 12 storeys. 95% are presold. More information is available here.

30 Madden
In December 2021, it was announced that 30 Madden has sold out prior to construction. Registrations of interest for Willis Bond’s next Wynyard Quarter development are now open. More information is available here.

51 Albert apartments
51 Albert Street, 30 apartments on levels 29 – 41 of a 41-storey mixed-use development. In February 2022, an update shows that construction continues. Further information is available on their website.

65 Federal Street
65 Federal Street, 226 apartments in a 46-storey mixed-use development.
