Auckland Council is currently asking for feedback on its plan to radically reduce emissions to rapidly increase Auckland’s resilience to the impacts of climate change.

The plans key moves include making development and infrastructure climate compatible, delivering clean and efficient mobility options, and shifting to renewable energy.

This is your opportunity to say whether Council is heading in the right direction. Your feedback will help finalise Auckland’s Climate Action Framework and identify detailed council-specific actions and funding requirements to be consulted on through the council’s next 10-year budget.

Consulation is open till 6 September.
