On-Street and Parking Building Rates

Heart of the City, along with Auckland Transport and Secure Parking NZ, have worked together to make it cheaper and easier for people to park in the city centre, both in parking buildings and on the street.

Pay and display parking is available throughout the city centre. You can pay for parking using the AT Park app or a parking machine. You can view city centre parking zones and rates here.

Secure Parking NZ offer a $2 weeknight and weekend parking rate at the Chancery car park on 8 Bacons Lane.

Auckland Transport offer $4 per hour weekday parking (6am - 6pm) at the Victoria Street, Downtown and Civic car parking buildings. To a maximum of $24 per day.

Parking at the Civic carpark on weekday evenings, with entry after 6pm, is a flat fee of $12.

Weekday evenings and weekends at Victoria Street and Downtown, is $2 per hour to a maximum of $10.
